‘Wise Enough to be Foolish’ is a fictionalized memoir that traces the journey of an Indian girl’s life, with all its challenges and delightful surprises, as she blossoms from an insecure child into a confident young woman. The novel deals with the adventure, laughter and heartache, as she balances her love life with her struggle for independence.

The story itself revolves around Gauri’s transformation, from a tomboy to a brave woman who marries, gets divorced & finally finds ‘magic’! Being the middle child is never easy and Gauri is no exception to this rule. She harvests not just courage but shows enough courage to prove the world wrong. She walks down the memory lane and talks about her childhood, her youth, her school life, college life, and career and about the many problems she faced during her journey of 28 years. She faced the problems head-on and carved out her own destiny. This novel offers you a look into the thinking pattern of girls and how they analyze a situation or a relationship, be it with their parents, with their friends or with their lovers and husbands.

This story of her life experience will surely inspire those women who are in need of moral support to take the correct path in their life. I would definitely say Gauri has been enough honest throughout her roller-coaster ride. The title is very catchy and suitable.
