My view : Author’s style of addressing events is very astute in nature,they come out before readers as very fresh and alive,and accumulates enough of strength to cajole reader’s heart.The story paces quite slowly, but author knows how to cuddle reader into the arms of words,he created an eloquent maze for the readers,and readers couldn’t do anything but to fall for it. He tackles words in an approaching way,his approach to reach to the readers is straightforward,the nature of narration let the readers melt in the heat of words.He mold the story in such a way that reader couldn’t think of anything else but dwell in the world he has created.
There was nothing that you could predict in the book,as what would happen next,author has lined up the episodes in such a manner that reader would flow through them in a row. Conversations doesn’t lack good content,characters has something valid to said every time,and unwanted and uninvited conversations didn’t participate in the book.You would find a thread of humour stitching all the events together. You would also notice flavours festooning the charm of the book,elections and politics,Curves of Siya and Atharv relationship.
Author’s authentic command on language is evident from his work,he play very cleverly with words and entertain readers at its best. He artistically and successfully paints the picture of events, and readers on the other hand can easily comprehend what all author has in store for readers.First few pages,and one can easily guess the amount and level of maturity author has sprinkled in this piece of literature.
What I don’t like from the book is, involvement of some non-fictional content(politics related),as this specific thing don’t excite me,and understanding politics and all is not really my cup of tea.So,I found that out of my interest.
