Review:

The story from the beginning itself manages to hold my attention through the series of events it holds. Although, the events are quite common in nature and misses the spice, it somehow maintains the charm to hold reader’s attention. From the binding of events to the narration style  mediocrity is followed. It would say neither that it is too fluent and faultless nor it is irritating or uninteresting.

The authoress tries to cover the story in a candid manner, doesn’t beat around the bush and talks about the relevant events and deals with related information. The story being straight-forward in nature, paces at a great speed which is supporting the story and on the other hand forces reader to complete it as soon as possible.

Conversations and characterizations are good enough to cross the bridge between the readers and the story. Writing style is matured and articulated well, providing a good flow in the reading journey. Adorn with simplicity and clarity in thought, reader could easily understand the events and at the same time able to relate with it. A friendly behavior is maintained with the readers throughout the journey making the ride easy for him/her.

Talking about the downfall of the book, the major pothole I found in the book is lacking in a new story-line. I was so drawn towards the title and the blurb, that I got too excited about what it would offer, and I was pretty sure that it would offer me something different. What I just needed from this book is a unique plot.

All in all, an interesting read for me and offers a light-read!
